MOUNTING BEAD-LOCK TIRES

I set the rim on the on the side of my tool box. So that the tire would sit with the weight off the top.
A 5 gallon bucket will work allot better but I didn't have one.

Plain dish soap worked fine getting the tire over the rim.

I got 5 bags of 8 0z bags of CounterAct balancing beads, from Buffalo Tire and Wheel.
6 oz for 31"-35" / 8 oz for 36"-44" Tires.
They ran me $10.00 a bag, it only takes 1 bag per tire.

Once the beads are in the tire, I set it center on the rim and placed the the bead lock on.
It took a little work to get the bead-locks on, they fit tight around the rim and didn't want to stay centered.
Once the Bead-Locks were tight I aired them up, it took about 15 psi to set the bead.

.....and this is what they look like mounted.
